Sometimes, the worst people are not those who look ugly, big and scary.
Sometimes, these people act as if they’re your closest friends.
Sometimes, they gain your trust and break your heart.
Sometimes, they teach you how to hope, how to trust and how to see life
But sometimes, the people who made you feel special will make you feel worthless, unimportant and insignificant. It’s because these people hold a great part of your heart and have been inculcated in your memories. But in doing so, you allowed them to hold a part of your life without thinking that they could just easily throw it all away and bury it with all the other things they already used.
Then you realized, none of these would’ve happened if you didn’t let them. The question is, why did you? It’s during these moments that you have to be strong. It’s during these moments that you find people who truly care despite the misunderstandings, imperfections and distance.
Never take your friends for granted. They may have always been there for you before but the moment you keep forgetting them, treating them like dirt, and lying to them, don’t expect them to take all that shit and still be there for you. Friendship is supposed to be mutual and not one-sided. How would you feel knowing that the person you’ve always cared for sees you as nothing? And makes you feel unimportant?
Wake up. Try realizing how much betrayal and pain you’ve caused to people who were always there for you when you needed them.
Thanks for treating me like crap and making me feel like crap too. Now I know who my real friends are. The people who are never ashamed of me and the people who still continued to get me through all the pain.

Praise God! :) finally had the awesome blessing of being at the Grand Finals of the 6th Visayas Universities Debate Championship. Being part of the top 10 best speakers was an amazing bonus. Thank you Lord for this great opportunity. All this would not be possible if we didn’t have You. To my awesome team mates! Harold and Eri, We did it! :) We may not have won the championship but this was more than what we prayed for. Thank you Lord!!! :)

I have been trying to reach out to a friend lately but it’s just hard to keep reaching out to someone who has no intention of spending a few moments to listen.
Promises get broken. But I hoped that that one promise could at least remain true despite all the things that have happened. I’ve done my part already. Maybe all I’ve got to do is wait and if I get no response… I should probably just continue the road alone.
